A Message From Our Founder

For as long as I can remember, I have not been able to go very long without going on some kind of Adventure. I recall, as a kid, romping through the woods, blazing trails and creating campsites with my buddies. And when summer came, I was always on some trip… Deserts out west, beaches in Florida, the Smoky Mountains and even Peru. There is so much to see in this world… and Adventure is what it’s all about!
This is a passion I want to share with you all. We at SENDER Adventures want to encourage you to get out and discover new places near and far. Do something you have never done before. Go farther than you have ever gone before. See this amazing world we live in. Take the challenge. Come with us on an Adventure!

Two Lakes Loop Trail
2 day backpacking trip around Lake Celina and Indian Lake on the Two Lakes Loop Trail.
This is a moderately hard trail that is just over 12 miles with 1,538 ft. of elevation gain. This trail is a Sender favorite! It meanders through dense hardwood forest, into the shorelines of both lakes and runs through lush meadows. Prepare to work hard in some sections!
There are plenty of established campsites along the trail. We will hike in and find our sites, camp and hike the remainder out the next day. There will be a 10 person cap on this trip, so book early! More info. on dates coming soon.

Scotts Gap Trail
We will be tackling Scotts Gap Trail on our next day hike. It is located at the end of the Siltstone Trail at Scotts Gap Rd. in Jefferson Memorial Forest.
This 3.3 mile trail is a loop and features a nice variety of landscapes and has a couple of small creek crossings. This is a moderate hike with a few ups and downs with 639 feet of elevation gain. We can either finish the trail with a steep downhill or do the trail counter clockwise and start with a leg burner! We’ll take a vote day of!
We are excited to get going again after a pause during the rougher winter weeks. This will be our first day hike of 2025! Check back for the date.
